There is so much information out there about food- are abs made in the kitchen or not? What's the best diet? Are supplements really necessary? If I eat at night will I get fat?
First of all, hi, I'm Brenna and I LOVE food. I actually went to culinary school a long time ago, but it really didn't teach me anything about how to manage what I was putting in my body to reach my goals. If you're reading this, you're probably a little fed up with what you've been trying or what other people/Instagram accounts have told you. Proper nutrition is simple at its core, but highly individualized. Let's find what works for you!
Personally, I follow a macronutrient based approach to nutrition, meaning that I track my overall calories, broken into proteins, fats and carbohydrates. This is the most flexible way to still enjoy the foods that you love while crushing your goals.
From the information you give me, I will calculate your starting macros, and update them weekly or bi-weekly, according to your goals and unique situation. Everything is hand written by me, never by an online calculator!
We will set up an initial discovery call so that you can tell me all about your current habits, struggles and what you would like to accomplish. As we progress we will have follow up calls as frequently as we decide that you need.
While supplements should be a minimum requirement, sometimes we struggle to get enough of what our body needs from whole foods. You and I will evaluate this together and decide what is best for you.
Calories and macronutrients are just half of the big picture. We also need to address whether you are getting enough vitamins and essential nutrients into your diet. It's amazing what the body can do when you give it what it needs!

Food is one of the most pleasurable aspects of life. Oftentimes we take it too far, use it as a coping mechanism, or simply don't understand it. Beyond giving you a nutrition plan, I want to help you to learn what your body needs, how to shop effectively, how to navigate social situations, order strategically at restaurants, and continue to enjoy the things you love most!

Actually, abs are made in your mind, first. Success is a result of the habits you have, that come from the thoughts we think. As a recovered binge and purge queen, I know that most of what was in my head about food was negative.
Together, we will work on changing the script and doing the deep work that will allow you to get free of old fears and compulsive habits.
